In one of my previous article I had mentioned lineage of birds stretches' all the way back to dinosaurs. In this article we shall see in detailed

about the

morphological and habitual changes or evolution undergone by theropods dinosaurs after 5th mass extinction. Let's recall something when we typically

encounter Lizards, or any sort of reptile our first reaction would be " Hey... it resembles the dinosaur we saw in Jurassic park !! " and that's right we try to link certain morphological elements of the living organism with an extinct one and unknowingly would form its lineage. Certain unpredicted fossil discoveries led to the derivation of EVOLUTION OF BIRDS. The story begins from 1861 a teeny tiny hint of birds evolving from dinosaur began here. A few years after Darwin authored the book ORIGIN OF SPECIES an unique tiny bird like sample ( when first observed ) was found in Germany from the late Jurassic period of Mesozoic era. Later it was named as Archaeopteryx by a British Anatomist Richard Owen. This discovery has, have and had let to an unbelievably big

revolution for the DINOSAUR TO BIRD EVOLUTION THEORY. Archaeopteryx followed a classic characteristic representation in its preserved condition, a mixture of bird like features ( feathers, wings, etc..., ) but, also retained other reptilian features like a long bony tail, sharp claws on the hand and many more. In

whole though this is a mind breaking discovery a complex jigsaw such as this wasn't able to be pieced together without a proper understanding and analysis.
